    Hi David.

1 No Woman, No Cry: 5/10.

I've mixed feelings on this song.

    2 Sweet Home Alabama 8/10.

It just feels good to hear it.

    3 You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet: 7/10.

A good song to hear once in a while.

    4 Rock Your Baby: 10/10.

Virtually perfect. but what a shocking quality vid you linked :)

    5 Lady Marmalade: 8/10.

Yes! Shame the song has been ruined for me by constant use in advertisements.

    6 Autobahn: 7/10.

Not bad, but far from their strongest work imo.

    7 Help Me: 7/10.

    Beautiful vocals.

    8 Waterloo: 8.5/10

Sure, they're overplayed, but whatever I like it.

9 Can't Get Enough of Your Love Baby: 10/10. I love Barry, even if his concert in Sydney was the worst i've ever seen.

10 Tell Me Something Good: 7/10.

    Fun.

Replace You Ain't Seen Nothing yet with 18 You're the First, the Last, My Everything.

Replace No Woman no Cry with 16 Rikki Don't Lose That Number.

    The rest can stay.

Sorry i suck at trivia :)

  • 1 - No Woman No Cry doesn't need any comments - The song speaks for itself - A big 10.

2 - Sweet Home Alabama - The song that launched the career of one of Americas best Rock bands The song played way too much and it is very simple compared to some of their other songs but who can resist singing along when it comes on the radio. Well no Southerner could resist it. I'm not sure about the Yankees up North. LOL 9/10

3 - You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet - I loved the Overdrive even if they were just a simple good time Rock Band. The Stutter makes this song so cool. 7/10

4 - Rock Your Baby - I had forgotten all about this song - It's a little light weight for my taste but a good danve song. 5/10.

5 - Lady Marmalade - I really don't like Disco music and I consider this early Disco but it's not too bad. 6/10.

6 - Autobahn - Like I said on your other question - Electronic music just isn't my thing. Give me a dirty blues riff over a synthesizer but this group was ground breaking so I will give it a 6.

7 - Help Me - I love Joni's music but not this one too much. It's too Pop for a great folk/rock artist. 5/10.

8 - ABBA - I HATE ABBA - just kidding but I really don't care for a single one of their songs at all. It gets a 0.

9 - Can't Get Enough of your Good Love - Barry is the man when it comes to creating a little steamy romance. I will admit I only play him when I want to get busy with my wife. LOL - Still Barry has a great voice. 7/10

10 - Rufus - is just another dance group to me - I love to dance but I don't raye pure dance songs very high. I give it a 5.

11 - Black Water - I love the early Doobie Brothers before Michael McDonald steered them away from The Blues? Rock sound. This is a classic in my book - a solid 9.

12 - Rebel Rebel - a great Bowie tune - Not as good as The Man Who Sold The World but still a solid 9/10.

    Youtube thumbnail

13 - Killer Queen - MY favorite Queen song - I have a lot of Queen music but I rarely play it anymore. I think it sounds dated now. but still this gets an 8.

14 - Pick Up The Pieces - I won't make much of a comment here except I used to love dancing to this song but for listening I give it a 3.

15 - Can't Get Enoug - I liked Paul Rogers in Free better but this is a pretty good Arena Rock song - I'll give it a 6.

    16 - Rikki - I love Steely Dan - great fun tune - a solid 9.

17 - I Shot The Sheriff - was done pretty well by Clapton - I think Marley did it better but as covers go this is very good. I give it a 7.

18 - Barry White is smooth but other than Romance I don't play it. I give this one a 6.

19 - You're Know Good - First of all Linda could do so much with a song. Most of her stuff was covers but she made each song her own and in her own style. This isn't one of my favorites but Linda did sound great on it. 7/10.

20 - It's Only Rock n Roll - even a bad Stones song is better than most of it's compition. This isn't a bad song but not one of their best either. I give it a 7.

Chicago - They formed in the late 60's in Chicago Illinois as far as I know. I think it was 1967 and most members were DePaul University students at least in the beginning.

    REM - no idea.

The only person to ever sing on a Led Zeppelin Studio album was Sandy Denny.

5150 is a code for a psychiatric hold.

This one is easy Dire Straits.

I'd put Queen's "Killer Queen" in the top ten. I'd replace Waterloo by ABBA

    3) Sandy Denny

Hi Dave :) Call me lazy but that's too much work for me. I will say this though, 1974 was a good year for rock n roll

It's okay Dave, it's not the first time and sure it won't be the last. I don't expect everyone to like me or agree with my opinions, but like you I don't really get it either, probably because we're the type to say something directly to someone instead.
