cloud computing - countable or uncountable?

Dear all,

I am writing an essay concerning cloud computing. As the first step, I would like to confirm if cloud computing is a countable noun or uncountable noun.

I realize that a cloud computing services offered by IBM is identical from a cloud computing service offered by Oracle. I am assuming it is countable, but, wanted to double check.

"Cloud computing" is a verb. ~Nancy is could computing ~"Computing in the cloud".

"The cloud" is a noun. It is a thing. ~He is computing in the cloud.

Source(s): Obviously, cloud computing was invented by god since the computers are in the clouds. He runs "HeavenOS 7.2" currently.
