Macbeth Opinion question need answers quick?
So, say Macbeth and Lady Macbeth were put on trial but you can only execute one person who would you choose and why
Give me a couple valid strong reasons to support your reason

Well, it has to be Macbeth. Why? Because he was the one who actually did the deed. He held the knife and plunged it (repeatedly) into Duncan's body. Lady M may have encouraged it, she may have helped him cover it up, but she didn't actually do it - so he has to be seen as more at fault than she.
Also, as far as murders after Duncan, Macbeth did that all on his own, albeit hiring assassins to do the dirty work. Lady Macbeth knew nothing of the plots to kill Banquo and Fleance. By her sleepwalking ramblings, we can guess she assumed how Lady Macduff came to be six feet under, but, chances are, she was not part of the plot.
