I loved the song, "Summertime, Summertime" done by the Jamies in the 1950's. I can recall many of these summer time songs from the 50's & 60's but will share a few. (1)Itsy, Bitsy, Teeny, Weeny, Yellow, Polka Dot Bikini (Brian Hyland) (2) Who Wears Short Shorts? (Royal Teens) (3) Theme From A Summer Place (Percy Faith) (4) Girls On the Beach (Beach Boys) (5) All Summer Long (Beach Boys) (6) Beach Party (Annette Funicello) (7) Theme From the Endless Summer (Bruce & Terry) (8) Summertime Blues (Eddie Cocharan)

It kinda depends on what kind? Definitely look into jazz and classical ballads and then the beginnings of Motown.
