I'd stay away from such as that...

the absolute BEST I've found is gimp.

Gimp is basically photoshop, but it is free. it has all the same tools and functionality, and you can even convert photoshop brushes to be used in gimp

it is free, because it was originally produced for linux, so it is open-source (same as linux, and all its software)

it was then ported over to windows, so now it can be used by anyone with windows.

imake use of it often, and it is a fantastic tool, and supports just about every format (including photoshop project files)

    the url is....

    www.gimp.org

hope you like it! Iknow ido.

Citrify, iPiccy, FotoFlexer or Lunapic are great all round web based and FREE editing tools. Adobe, makers of the expensive Photoshop, has a free website version in Photoshop Express. If you need/want more features downloading GIMP is a great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. There are also free tools to add text blurbs, to make collages, to put your photo into other images. There are a number of tools that allow you to put the image of a face into other photos for some fun creations.

'Gimp' is the most outstanding program available. It's totally free, stable, tonnes of support, and it works incredibly well. I have used Gimp for over 2 years now nearly every day and it has never let me down. Don't bother with any other program available.

Oh and stay away from shareware - It has one of the worst reputations for malicious hidden spyware out there.

The next big update is due out soon.

I found a free download of the latest version of Gimp here http://bitly.com/1wDtMbl

The latest Gimp is better than ever. Its developers are taking the user experience into serious consideration and are speeding up development for this already great photo editor.

I am not familiar with that. I did check it out and I really don't like the looks

of it. I believe I would pass on it. gimp is a good photo editor.

I use Gimp but there are actually two (IMO) "safe" option and both are great

    first is Gimp

    http://www.gimp.org/downloads/

and second is paint, this is not windows paint

    http://www.getpaint.net/

  • I don't really think it sounds that safe.

A really good free one is photoscape which is very safe as I use it and amazing :')

paint.net or GIMP is the best option.
