How does an NHL Entry-Level Contract Work?

On Capgeek it says the AHL salary could be ex $ 90,000, but NHL could be $925,000. Does that mean that when the player plays in the AHL he gets that amount, and for NHL that amount? What if he plays in the juniors? ex OHL,WHL, American Universities, etc. Which amount does he recieve?

Yes....two amounts. A two way contract. Some players are on a one way contract which would pay them the same whther in the NHL or AHL.

No pay if in Junior...and it would not count as a year of his entry level contract
