How to go faster on my longboard?

I have a Sector 9 Seeker (2 weeks old) and I was longboarding with my friends today and I was always at the back and at least 20-30 ft behind them, one of them was on a longboard which is 2 years old and the others were on penny boards. No matter how hard i pushed i just couldnt catch up.

These are the specs of my board:

10.0" Gullwing Charger Trucks

72mm 80a OS Race Formula Wheels

Abec 5 PDP Bearings

1.0" Flush Mount Steel Bolts

Drop Through Mount

3200 Jessup Grip Tape

You should upgrade your bearings to Bones Reds bearings and get some PRECISION SPACERS. It may seem that it won't matter because they are just spacers, but these spacers can make you tighten your wheels all the way. Thus, giving you no chatter to your wheels which make sliding easier and speed efficient.

You dont need precision spacers, but any spacer will help.

Make sure your bearings are cleaned and lubed!

Learn to stand in a speed tuck as well.

You board might just be heavier, so it takes more energy for you to push it.
