how to erase a cd-r disk?

i wana erase video on the disk so i may burn some music nto it

    Unfortunately you can't erase CD-R discs. Only discs that end with -RW are erasable/rewritable (CD-RW, DVD-RW, etc.). CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R, etc. discs are what are called "write-once" so once data has been written to it, it's permanent.
