I'm making a budget gaming build and i want to know which cpu will be best for me needs.

Cpu: ?
Gpu: 550 ti or 6850?
Psu: 500w coolermaster
Os: Win 7
Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 4gb 1600mhz
Mobo: ?
Hdd: 500gb Western Digital Caviar Blue 7200prm

I'm going to play games like CS:S and CS:GO, BF3, BO2, TF2, Garry's Mod, Minecraft, Etc. I really dont care what graphic quality it is in, i just want good fps. Thanks for your time.

746 build for a 6870 amd ( no brainer it isnt that much)

if all these parts are put together you will have a decent build with will run games on high with 6870

Get the Phenom. of course it particularly is quad middle and you will improve to an FX in case you prefer later, which isn't lots extra high priced than the Phenom. I went with the Phenom because of the fact quad-middle is the destiny so as that CPU will artwork better with video games interior the destiny, yet of direction the pictures card is extra substantial. besides, the Phenom is particularly like $10-20 extra advantageous than the i3. Very worth it IMO.
