System recovery questions?

I have serious Malware problem in mu desktop. I have just done the system recovery and it is now back to factory settings. I doubt if I should restore the backup data into the system. Will the Malwares and addwares come back ?

    Well first download norton or avast! and scan the backup data. if it has been infected then only keep the files that you know are safe as in movies songs documents exc. the norton only has a 60 day trial so you can uninstall it after your done or use avast! it's free. and dont uninstall avast it u download that
