chem: volume, pressure, temp (@SATP) question...?
"the air in a 2.75L balloon at a temperature of 10*C exerts a pressure of 125 kPa. determine the new volume of the balloon at SATP."
That's the question, but I feel it's missing something... please help solve! (the answer is supposed to be 3.62L)

SATP is standard ambient temperature and pressure
which is 25 deg celcius (298.15 Kelvin)
and 100.0 kPa
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_conditions_f...
Use the combined gas equation
P1V1 / T1 = P2V2 / T2
P1 = 125 kPa
V1 = 2.75 L
T1 = 10 deg C = 283.15 K
P2 = 100.0 kPa
V2 = ? L
T2 = 298.15 K
V2 = P1V1T2 / (P2T1)
= 125 kPa x 2.75 L x 298.15 K / (100.0 kPa x 283.15 K)
= 3.62385 L
= 3.62 L (3 sig figs)
