How many liters of air are in a ball that is 12 feet in diameter?

    Volume of a sphere = 4/3 * Pi * Radius^3

    Radius = 1/2 * Diameter

    Volume of air in this ball = 4/3 * Pi * 6 feet^3

    1 Foot = 0.3048 Meters.

    6ft = 1.8288m

    Volume of air in ball = 4/3 * Pi * 1.8288 m³

    Volume of air in ball = 25.620456m³

    Cubic Meter = 1000 Liters.

    25.620456m³ = 25620L

    - - -

    Thus; an inflatable ball 12 feet in diameter, contains 25,620 liters of air! <== Answer!

    To convert liters to cubic feet

    Divide the number of liters by 28.31685 to convert to cubic feet. For example, if you have 20 liters, divide 20 by 28.31685 to get 0.71 cubic feet.

    Therefore, to convert cubic feet to liters you multiply by 28.31685

    The volume of a sphere is 4 x PI x R^3

    Volume of your sphere (ball) is - 4 x 22/7 x 12^3 cubic feet

    To establish the capacity in liters –

    4 x 22/7 x 12^3 x 28.31685.

    Volume in cft = 4/3 x pi x Radius³

    V = 1.3333333 x 3.14 x 6 x 6 x 6 = 904.32 cft

    volume in liters:

    1 cft = 28.31685 liters

    So 904.32 cft = 904.32 x 28.31685 = 25607.49379 liters
