Have you ever had an hallucination?
If so were you aware at the time that it was an hallucination?
What form did the hallucination take - images, sounds/voices, smell/taste, touch?
Not sure that I would class dreams as hallucination as you are not concious at the time.
My question was inspired by a book I am reading Hallucinations by Oliver Sacks, M.D. www.oliversacks.com
A very interesting book, hallucinations are much more common than people think and are in most cases are not associated with mental disorder.

Yes, lots of them in my youth.
Yes, I was very aware. Gleefully so. On a good day all of the senses were involved but visuals are the most compelling.
LSD would do many people a lot of good. It's a doorway to a new way of perceiving reality. One can sense the interconnectedness of everything in ways not readily apparent. It's also great fun with a group of good friends.
