Windows 8 computers come with a new feature called secure boot. It's designed to stop programs, like viruses, from running before your OS and antivirus can start protecting your PC. The downside is that it prevents any OS except for Windows 8 from loading.
Before installing Windows 7 you'll want to make sure that there are Windows 7 drivers for your computer. Your PC manufacturer's web site will have a link to driver for your model.
If you have a problem with your new PC after downgrading to 7 the manufacturer might refuse to give you tech support until Windows 8 is installed.
So you really have two options, learn to use Windows 8 or install a start menu replacement program. I'm assuming your problem with Windows 8 is the new start screen. If someone showed you how to use it I bet you'd like it a little more, right?
Here's a link to a free e-book that will show you how to get around in Windows 8.
If that still doesn't help then there's always the start menu replacement. I suggest Start8 by Stardock. It'll give you a Windows 7-style start menu plus it lets you bypass the start screen and boot directly into the desktop. It'll cost you $5 but that's a pretty good deal if you ask me. Here's a link.

You don't understand Microsofts new UEFI security system. get ready for the sock of your live
This is an answer I have give
I have been waiting for this to happen There are going to be 1000's more asking this same question very shortly. I will tell you that Microsoft have made all windows 8 systems manufactures lock them down so that ONLY windows 8 will run on them. You can NOT NOT NOT go back to windows 7 You should have been warned of that by the seller of the computer. They have violated you rights to know before you bought it. Which is a good thing for you.
Microsft has got some more dirty tricks for windows 8 users which you should know about but don't You will NOT NOT be allowed to download anything and install it you can't install anything that you have not bought from microsoft at high prices, you can NOT use any other web browser only IE, you can NOT do anything without Microsofts say so they now control you and your computer,
Complain to the GOVERNMENT Compain the your SELLER, Compain to the MANUFACTURES compaining to Microsoft will do no GOOD

I was looking for a windows 7 copy, and from experience I've come to understand that buying online is actually a lot cheaper than for instance in my local store.. So I somehow ended up on san-kom but it seemed a bit, well, not reliable?.. So I made much reaseach on this site. No negitive feedback.
I decided to give it a try, found the cheapest ever copy, put the copy in cart and started the checkout. From here on it actually went alot easier, I paid with paypal and about 1hrs i recieved my key in email, and about 5 mins later a download link for the ISO file. The key worked perfectly! surprise surprise, its legit!..I sent the customer support a thank you message, and they responded immediatly. Kudos!
I will definitely come back to their website again!Source(s): http://www.frevvy.com/
