Sign out of your account.
Then access it via Internet Explorer not google or google chrome.
Sign back in again and hopefully this should work for you.
That's how I fixed the same problem you are having and all the other problems that existed
when my Yahoo was changed to the new version.
If that doesn't resolve the issue try using another browser, there are over 11 that can be used in windows, mac, linux operating systems. eg. Safari, Opera, Firefox. etc.

You can also report Yahoo mail problems or provide feedback to Yahoo from this link.
These problems have existed for some users since November 2012 and Yahoo haven't
managed to solve these problems.
