If a pdf goes blank, can I still get the info back?

I was just opening tabs and scrolling up and then an error popped up on my PDF viewer and said that there was an error reading the document. It wasn't mine.... and I don't know how to use PDF (oh the ignorance!) but is there anyway to get the information back? 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER!

I'm not 100% sure what happened here by your description but just try closing your Adobe Reader and then re-opening it and then try reopening the file again.

If the PDF was originally saved and all you were doing is reading it then the error should not have deleted the words.

But if you were in the middle of creating this PDF file, and it had never been saved, then it's gone and there is nothing you can do to get it back.
