what is dy/dx when the normal is parallel to x axis?

I know that dy/dx is 0 when the tangent of a line is parallel to the x axis. But how about for the normal?


can anyone also tell me if it is conversely true that when the normal is parallel to the y axis, dy/dx is 0?

    Normal means per. To tangent.so normal will parallel to y axis.and dy/dx=undefined
