How do you convert Meter to yard in golf?
Recently I played at a golf course with meter yardage. How do you convert it fast to yardage?
Golf courses with meter yardage is a lot longer than golf courses that use yards. BTW is there an easier way than to use a calculator and times 1.09?

If you're going from meters to yards, an easy and somewhat accurate way to convert is to take the first two digits of the meter distance (or one digit of you're inside 100) and add it to the original number. So, if you're 138m out, take 13 and add it to 138, so you would be 151y out.Source(s): Played tournaments in countries that use meters

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

A meter is 39 inches. A yard is 36. Let's say you have a 100-meter shot. That's 3,900 inches. Divide that by 36 inches to get it in yards. Yards will always be more since they ar a smaller distance measurement.

If you have a calculator you need to do [amount of meters] times 1.0936Source(s): 1 m is equivalent to 1.0936 yards, or 39.370 inches.
