Are you a true believer?

A true believer is not a member of any religion or religious organization.

Update:

@Mysterious Answerer : I think you are talking about Moral Philosophy (Everything changes,

everything is connected, cause no unnecessary suffering foryourself or other living beings).

I'm not a member of a religion and this is my philosophy:

    Everything changes,

    everything is connected,

    cause no unnecessary suffering for

    yourself or other living beings.

Anything that is in the general direction of the last ten words is something that I can be for. Anything that is not in the general direction of the last ten words is something that I cannot be for. The first five words are a brief description of how reality works and encourages people to not despair because if everything changes then that means the suffering won't last forever either. If everything is connected that encourages people not to treat other living beings as if they are worthless separate beings but to love them. I like this philosophy because it doesn't require complicated ritual or dogma. The daily life is the ritual.

I think you said it wrong. I think what you meant to say was that being a member of a religious organization or religion does not make one a true believer

Amen!! I have always stood firm in this. Religion is empty rules and rituals to follow. They may show on the outside but does not do anything on the inside. Religion certainly does not save anyone. If it did then Christ would have never had to sacrifice Himself to save us. What sets followers of Christ apart from any religion is that we have a Savior. No religion offers this. I do consider myself a Christian definitely, but i don't always use the term because sadly it is used too loosely these days. Christianity is not a religion it is a faith. We live by faith in Christ not by religion. We are saved by the Grace of God through our faith in Jesus Christ. Christ died so that we could have life, He took all of our sins and the suffering for our sins so that we could be forgiven and be saved and have eternal life through our faith in Him and what He has done for us. There is nothing that anyone can do to save themselves. Salvation is a free gift from God, it is nothing we can do ourselves. Religion teaches that we save ourselves by our own works and good deeds, but Christ teaches the complete opposite. That He is the only one who can save us and that it is a free gift and none of us deserve it and none of us can earn. Thank you Jesus! :)

    God bless you!!

Oh, oh, now enters in the 13th commandment.

    11. Thou shall not judge.

    12. Thou shall not gamble.

I guess so, though the name sounds dramatic. It makes me thing of a shitty stage with shiny things, and also about Justin Bieber. Let just call each other for our names, shall we? I'm Lety, nice to meet you.

  • We have Captain Self-righteous here "asking" a question that's really just him/her treating their opinions like facts.

I do not entertain "beliefs" for they are for those who can not handle life in any other way.
