If the "N" or "D" shift indicator is flashing you are in fail safe mode because of an electrical problem with the tranny controls. You need to go to the dealer to have the transmission codes read. Like what he said^^^

If the "N" or "D" shift indicator is flashing you are in fail safe mode because of an electrical problem with the tranny controls. You need to go to the dealer to have the transmission codes read. OBD II code readers won't work. Don't go to a tranny shop...they will only try to sell you a transmission instead of just the sensor you need!
