A gas has a volume of 39 liters at STP. What will its volume be at 4 atm and 25oC? (10.6 L)?
The answer is (10.6 L), how do I get this though?

V1 = 39L
T1 = 273K
P1 = 1atm
P2 = 4atm
T2 = 25oC = 25 + 273 = 298K
Using the ideal gas equation,
P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2
V2 = P1V1T2/P2T1
V2 = 1 x 39 x 298/4 x 273 = 11622/1092 = 10.642L
V2 = 10.6L
