an IP address is showing an amazon.com ISP. What does this mean?

i sent a ip address tracer link to someone who hacked into my email address and the ip address that is showing us is saying the ISP is amazon.com and the oranization is amazon.com. and its corporate and a static ip. from City: Ashburn, VA, USA.

What does this mean? It doesnt sound like this is their actual ip address.

hostname says : ec2-107-22-80-26.compute-1.amazonaws.com

    Amazon sells virtual server space.. the AWS is the Amazon Web service.

    Your hacker probably hacked someone else's AWS instance first; they aren't going to pay Amazon so anyone can trace them and follow the payment info.
