If i order something online and it will be shipping from somewhere out of canada, will I be charged?

If i order something online and it will be shipping from somewhere out of canada, will I be charged additional fees or tax? other than the tax fees i pay when i purchase online. l heard that there are additional fees i pay when i receive my parcel if it cost more than a specific amount.

Please, help.

It depends on the country of manufacture and the product's value. If it's less than $20, no extra fees. More than that, you may have to pay duty, provincial sales tax and an administrative fee to the shipper.
