Where can I find a 0.02 uF capacitor?
I'm looking for a 0.02 uF capacitor to buy online. I can't get it from a hardware store. It needs to ship to Canada.

Note 0.02 uF = 20nF = 20,000 pF when searching make sure that you know if it is ceramic, or a poly type of capacitor. ceramics are most common. Also specify the voltage. 50V is the most common for ceramics. Then specify the package type. SMT or leaded Thru-Hole.
or your local radio shack store:Source(s): vast engineering experience.

Electronic parts could not be found in hardware store. You went to the wrong place.
0.02 uF is a very common value capacitor unless you are looking for a extremely high voltage rate like 20 KV type. You could combine two 0.01uF to make one 0.02uF. For low voltage 0.02uF, many scrape electronic device has them, get them for free !

Steven above nailed the major sources.
In addition, if the capacitor is ALL you need, you might find that eBay is a convenient source. Set your search for 0.022 uF, instead of just 0.02 .
If you happen to live in an area near a Fry's Electronics, they sell this sort of thing.
