Would Alabama benefit from having the florida panhandle?

If Alabama had the panhandle would that be good for them?

There isn't anything there to benefit from, sand and such. You get into valuable soil when you enter Alabama, farms and forests.

Alabama produces more seafood than any state in the country with a small coastline through good conservation, they could possibly do the same along the Florida panhandle and produce an enormous amount of seafood.

Very little production along the Florida coast, it's predominantly consumers. But it could be a great area of production under the right economic governance.

Yes, then if stuff falls from Alabama it could go straight down into the Gulf of Mexico, instead of getting stuck in top of the Florida panhandle.

Look at a map. It's just common sense.

As a person who has lived in Alabama the only thing that would be good for Alabama is not being Alabama anymore.
