How many military air drones do you think the military has?

the actual real number is probably top secret and probably should be... so if you know for sure and it's top secret don't answer and get me in trouble..

but just to shoot the breeze... how many?

I mean... if they had a huge number you could almost carry out an entire war via drone...drone surveillance, drone bombers... at least 90 percent of it and then send in some troops to sweep up the ashes...

you could take out infrastructure, artillery, armor, air support... mostly via drone

Update 2:

could a drone army be a solid deterrent?

that we could wipe out a nation without even getting off the computer?

Don't have access to that number, as it isn't one the Feds would want the

country to know. Do have the latest however, on the high tech APC's

( Armored Personnel Carrier ) that have been delivered to major Police

Departments around the country, for "riot control": 3, 653 SO FAR.

The Northern Command ( the ONLY U.S.Army Division trained exclusively

in "domestic conflict resolution " ) has some 2,000 + alone. Added to that,

the Corps of Engineer's can turn any baseball field, sports arena, Little

League/football field, into a FEMA Camp within 8 hours, anywhere in

the country. Maybe nothing, but that's only IF one trusts this Government.

There's no doubt that drones have been effective in third world countries like Somolia, Yemen and Pakistan, but they haven't been used very much against countries with a stout anti-aircraft capability. One of the most advanced drones was shot down by Iran a few months ago.

Like every weapons system they do have their weak points.

More than you think. Plus you have to worry about the non-military drones

I don't care how many, I know they are used for good reasons.
