What would be the easiest way to restore my phone?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2X (SGH-T989D) running Android 4.0.3 (ICS). I have several contacts, notes, voice recordings, photos and videos stored on the phone. I was thinking I could write down a list of the apps I have installed, connect my phone through USB and copy the folders containing my voice recordings, photos and videos and then upload all of my notes (116 in total) to my Dropbox. From there, it would be a matter of figuring out a way of backing up all of my contacts and then resetting the phone to its factory settings.

I was thinking an easier way would be to backup everything using Kies. The reason why I want to reset my phone is because it's having a problem accessing the internal storage so I can't take photos, screenshots, voice recordings or videos and none of my songs show up in my music player. I asked a question as to why this is happening, but nobody seems to know, so I'm thinking I might as well reset it since I haven't reset it since I got it in March 2012.

Try SyncDroid backup and restore. It is a free software for Android devices. You can backup and restore any files of your Samsung Galaxy S2X with ease. Since it is recommended by my friend, i have been using it for my Samsung Galaxy S3~
