I just bought a modded mustang gt and im new to driving a stick. I just gpt it down as far as driving but when?

Whats are good rpms to take off on

    In general driving you won't need much in the way of RPM - just use the torque of that big engine. It will likely pull away quite happily without any throttle application at all. Particularly whilst learning to drive a manual, just get it rolling and off the clutch before you give it lots of gas.

    2500-3000 will do.

    The 4.6 in my SuperCrew starts to pull around 2000 RPMs, but the peak torque kicks in around 4000 RPMs, so closer to 3000 RPMs should be more efficient for pulling away from a stop. Cruising around 1500 RPMs should be no sweat then.
