Un-employment and anxiety?

I have had anxiety and been on many different medications since age 8 I am now 18 and my anxiety has gotten so bad I had to resign my job of 3 years .. now my question is can I go on EI or benefit I can recieve ? I live in alberta

    No, you cannot get unemployment after you resigned from your job. You chose to stop working and earning a paycheck. The reason for your choice is irrelevant. The fact is you made it and you are now unemployed by personal choice. You are not entitled to unemployment benefits.

    No, quitting disqualifies you. Also, you left because you cannot work....and being able to work is one of the requirements of receiving UE....so you don't qualify there either.
