What is STEM in education?
I know it stands for science technology engineering and mathematics.
But what is the technology part of it? I heard the US is going to have big demand for STEM careers so they want more immigrants to fill the jobs since only 16% of American senior high school kids say that they want that.
So what is the technology section? Would graphic design on computers be included in that?

STEM fields or STEM education is an acronym for the fields of study in the categories of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The term is normally used in addressing education policy and curriculum choices in schools from kindergarten through college to improve competitiveness in technology development. It has implications for workforce development, national security concerns and immigration policy.Source(s): More details: Atomic55.net
