Books about World war 1?

I'm writing a research essay on the topic of "Why did many Europeans welcome the outbreak of World war one?" And I need to find a book on this topic, any suggestions or search suggestions?

My favorite WWI book is The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman. It's about the first weeks of the war. I forget if it talks about European countries and their attitudes toward the war, but it might be a good place to start.

If all else fails, you could try looking in the library. Just a thought.

'The Proud Tower' - B. Tuchman.
