Why do people thinks cousin marriages is ok if the risk of genetic?
disease is low.
Is this the reason why it's ok?
Don't you feel disgusted in the first place, of marrying your first cousin?
So if someone gave you data that marrying you brother or sister is ok, genetic tests confirm that your offspring will be ok, are you going to be happy and marry each other?
So people are happy to scr*w each other as long as the genetic defect doesn't happen? lol.

Genetics have nothing to do with whether or not cousin marriages are ok. Marriage doesn't equal unprotected sex.
And yes, the risk is still relatively low to have a diseased child just because of isolated inbreeding.
Just because you feel disgusted doesn't mean everyone will.
Just because someone finds out marrying their sibling is ok, doesn't mean they'll automatically do it.
People may be happy or unhappy to screw with each other regardless.
