Why does Hobby Lobby want to refuse insurance to workers?

When its retirement plans invest in birth control? Isn't this the pot calling the kettle black so to speak? They support birth control for profit but not for insurance purposes?

It's not really about abortion and birth control. That's really just a pretext. Simply put, the owner of Hobby Lobby would like to see a Republican in the White House so he looks for a fight to pick with Obama. 90% of opposition to Obamacare is really just opposition to Obama. The Republicans are just trying to come up with as many roadblocks as they can because they want ACA to be seen as a failure, a bad idea.

Of course it's the job of the 'loyal opposition' to find fault with the president's ideas, to keep him in line, etc. But in this case the Repubs and their clients and sponsors are doing just everything they can to torpedo Obama and take back the White House. They really don't even have an agenda ready for when they do!

Nope that's wrong, hobby lobby refuses to pay for abortion through its work insurance. Its not refusing to pay the whole insurance.

2nd its employee retirement plans are managed by an outside company like most employee 401k plans, neither the employer nor employee has a say in what is invested in unless they manage their own individual plans.

So last they don't support birth control for profit or for insurance purposes?

Hobby Lobby doesn't want to refuse insurance to workers .. My God.. They just don't want to have to pay for SOME of the birth control devices that are against their Religious beliefs.. They are willing to offer insurance which allows MOST ( ALL BUT 3 ) forms of birth control they just wont support KILLING LIVE fetus as KILLING is against their religious beliefs.. Is this SO HARD for you to understand? Or are you simply ignoring the facts? You can STILL get you birth control just they wont support the KILLING after the fetus is alive. They will supply all PRE CONCEPTION birth control and IF an employee wants o kill a fetus they just have to pay for the killing out of their own pocket! IS this REALLY that HARD to understand? REALLY?

Hobby Lobby invests in birth control, they buy nearly all of their products from a country that mandates abortions (China), and Hobby Lobby has provided ALL of the exact same birth control coverage options for their employees for more than a decade......only to suddenly oppose their own insurance plan that they have had willingly for a decade because they don't like Obama.

According to their CEO, he thinks that contraceptives cause abortions. He is, of course, completely wrong on basic science, but according to SCOTUS Blog, he can argue a case before SCOTUS entirely based upon his OPINIONS, even if his opinions are utterly false.

You are wrong. Hobby Lobby has no objection to 16 of the 20 approved devices that are for preventing pregnancy. They are only objecting to the ones that end a pregnancy, such has morning after pills.

They also invest in abortion drugs.
