canada post estimated delivery date different from the date it should be.?
my item was shipped on april 8 via usps priority mail international parcels which is 6-10 business days.
and on the canada post website it says its in canada in transit but it says the standard delivery date is april 26 which doesn't make much sense to me. has this happen to anyone else? could there canada posts date be wrong and it will come sooner than later?

The date is an ESTIMATE a GUESS as to when it will in most cases arrive based on previous similar deliveries. It is not carved in stone. It is a BEST guess.
10 business days takes you to the 24 if you are in small town ville you add a day or two. That would be Monday 28.
Holidays are not Business Days did you forget there are two for Easter.
April 26 is a very good estimate of by when it should arrive. It can be Earlier or Later
The United States Postal Service does not monitor Canada Post service delays minute by minute. Having some bad weather in the East. The mail service has the same weather to deal with.
Normal for storms to add a day or two.
Mail is delivered in some areas on Saturdays but it is not a business day for calculating an estimated delivery.

u do not say what country the item is coming from so hard to answer. Canada customs can hold a shipment
and delay a delivery. depending on the item and value you might be charged duty and taxes as well.
