What would a poison control center operator ask...?

....a man who called saying that he was just bitten or stung on his foot while walking barefoot through some brush.

What questions would be asked to determine the most likely creature to have bitten or stung him if he did not actually see what did it?

The person does not know what bit or stung him, it could have been an insect, it could also have been a snake, spider or scorpion.

Poison Control would need to ask questions to assess which was most likely in order to give the best advice about the course of treatment. They would have more knowledge about this than a 911 operator.

They'd probably ask that you call 911. I could be wrong but insect stings and bites are not part of what the poison control center does.

Identify the bug that stung you.
