Why do you think we Jehovah's Witnesses preach the gospel?
- jeshurunLv 67 years agoFavorite Answer
Romans 10:8-10 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your own mouth and in your own heart”; that is, the “word” of faith, which we are preaching. 9 For if you publicly declare that ‘word in your own mouth,’ that Jesus is Lord, and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one exercises faith for righteousness, but with the mouth one makes public declaration for salvation.
Also, look at the world around us. It is bankrupt morally, and all governments on earth are going bankrupt economically. For this world there isn't much hope. IN fact, on Easter Sunday (Jehovah's Witnsses do not celebrate Easter) 43 people were shot in the City of Chicago. And not a week earlier, 35 people were shot in Chicago. The world is becoming a more volitile place to live in.
However, Jehovah's Witnesses preach the good news of God's kingdom as Jesus Christ did, in order to give mankind hope; Luke 4:43 But he said to them: “Also to other cities I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth
IN God's kingdom, there will be no war, crime, sickness, poverty, sorrow, and no death; Psalm 46:9, Isaiah 2:1-4, and 33:24, Micah 4:2-4, Revelation 21:3-4.

This is the assignment of all true christians. Especially those that say JW's are not and yet they have nothing to offer except "off-color" humor.
I just have to add this too: I see that a few of them (on YAHOO) that studied before, or even were witnesses before and gained a "certain amount of knowledge". However, with that they are still LOST because they rejected what they learned! Yet, instead of admitting it, they attack us! And then they start acting like they have the answers in the Scriptures, lol!!! Really lost!!!
We are not surprised though. This too was foretold.....and do not be deceived! This are not "friends", even when they try to paint themselves up as one:
For they are false friends and they will “go on speaking abusively of you” because you do not run with them to “the same low sink of debauchery.” (1 Pet. 4:3, 4)

Why does any religion preach the Gospel. Many religions preach, witnesses along with the other religions who go door to door and around the world do it because they think they have the truth, and they are trying to share it with others. Is this a trick question because it's pretty clear why they preach. They think that is what they are supposed to do and they are trying to help people.

About us today? God-given courage is needed to give a bold witness in the face of opposition. (Acts 4:29, 31)
Self-sacrifice is required to invest time and resources in the ministry.—Acts 20:24.
we similarly determined to preach the good news, even if we are disciplined or have a challenging territory assignment?
we willing to put aside personal preference in order to make known Jehovah’s mercy to people of all sorts?—1 Cor. 9:19-23.
we grow in appreciation for Jehovah’s undeserved kindness and rely upon his holy spirit for strength, we are used by him in ways we never thought possible, .—Matt. 19:26; Phil. 2:13.
I hope this helpsSource(s): *** km 4/13 p. 1 par. 3 Take as a Pattern the Prophets—Jonah ***

Hi Sunshine. The gospel or good news is all about Gods Kingdom. The only hope for mankind. We preach it to give a witness, to give everyone the opportunity to come to know about Jehovah and his purpose.

Every religion does it. Its kind of in the religion to do so. The only difference is you all have different ways of going about it JW come house to house, Christians tend to stop you in the street or at stands.

Well, a scripture states why very nicely:
(Romans 10:13-15) 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.” 14 However, how will they call on him in whom they have not put faith? How, in turn, will they put faith in him of whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach? 15 How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent forth? Just as it is written: “How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”
The principle reason of preaching is our love of God, and secondly love of neighbor.
Jesus says this to his followers:
(Matthew 28:19, 20) . . .Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU.. . .
So a true follower of Christ is commanded to preach and teach about the good news, or gospel, of God's kingdom.
Also, it was foretold that Jehovah would have a named people that would be preaching in the last days before the end came:
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
(Acts 15:14) . . .God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name.

There have been a number of good answers. Maybe I can put them all together in summary.
Primary reason---LOVE: Love for Jehovah God; Love for his son, Jesus and love for people
Next OBEDIENCE: Obedience to God; His wonderful son
Next ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO: This means our conscience impels us to warn and help people see what the hope in the Bible really is.
Next OBLIGATION: The Good News actually belongs to every man. It is an obligation on our part to make sure what belongs to all is returned to them (John 3:16)
There are more reasons. Not needed to itemize them here.Source(s): Holy Bible nwt

If you preach "endure to the end" then my answer is no, you can not preach or teach the Gospel of the Grace of God when you are locked into the Tribulation period.
The only ones that "endure to the end" in the context of Matt 24 are those who survive in the flesh during the Tribulation.
So yes, I'm afraid that you will die in your sins because you won't simply believe that Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh and that He has already paid for your sins.

Jehovah's Witness is a religion, which is tying to gain acceptance to God by doing good works. This is a work in futility. The righteousness of God comes thru faith in Jesus and is given as a free gift.
No one can earn their way into heaven.
The law condemns and shows that you are a sinner. If you use the law to gain righteousness you will fail and are under the curse of God.
