Empiric use of naloxone and flumazenil?
Compare and contrast the antidotes naloxone and flumazenil.
Which one is safer for empiric use in a comatose patient (you do not know what the patient has taken to render him comatose)?
Naloxone is used to treat opiate overdose.
Flumazenil is used to treat benzodiazepine overdose.
What serious complications could occur with use of these drugs?

Why don't you google it? You need someone to answer, it would be easier to call your local pharmacist but I doubt he wants to do your school work either. You
could just go to webmd.com and search out the answers.Source(s): RN
