My inhaler is expired but I really need it right now?

I'm 17 and I've had asthma as long as I can remember. I haven't had an attack in about 2 years but two days ago I developed a cough/runny nose and now I'm having a mild asthma attack. I'm afraid it's going to get really bad if I go to sleep. There aren't any 24hr clinics anywhere near me... show more I'm 17 and I've had asthma as long as I can remember. There aren't any 24hr clinics anywhere near me and I have this old ventolin hfa salbutamol sulfate 100mcg inhaler that has a 2012 expiry date on it. I've tried looking up ways to alleviate my symptoms without an inhaler but it hasn't helped. It's been hours and my symptoms haven't gotten any better but I can't go to the emergency room. I know I should have had my prescription filled as soon as it expires but I didn't really expect this to happen in the summer. What do I do?
Update: Got a new inhaler.
