Glasgow vs Edinburgh?

I am looking to go either Glasgow or Edinburgh for 2 days next week just for sigh see and maybe an activity.

I know its only 2 days but which city is more for a lively adventurous type person who's into doing fun things and where is the best places to visit.

I've never been to Scotland and really want to see what its like.

Thanks

Well, why not try both? They're only an hour apart by train, and there's a train every 15 minutes. Edinburgh's usually thought of as the more touristy city, but Glasgow is certainly also worth a visit - try Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, or the Burrell Collection.

Edinburgh is the more interesting by far.

Edinburgh is more of a traditional tourist destination with lots of historic sites
