Yes, all the time. Jackie Chan for example is famous for doing his own stunts, and has suffered numerous broken bones. Just watch the ending footage of Rumble in the Bronx; he spends half the film in a cast after snapping his leg. Other celebrities have followed suit, wanting to do their own stunts and getting harmed in the process because they're not really professionals.
A few actors are also rather notorious for not pulling their punches in fight scenes, and actually bringing a great deal of harm to others. Look up the history of Bruce Lee. He was a man who could obviously control his fists perfectly, but on at least a couple occasions he got upset with the person he was working with and basically put them in comas.
Oh, then look up his son, Brandon Lee... Sad story.

Okay that's what stunt devils are for. They do many on the stunts. But no one usually gets hurt, they either wear padding or they stand a an angle. It looks they get hit, but they do not. There first never actually touches there face. They stop there feet just before it hits the other persons stomach. Then they add a sound effect It's all basically a trick of the eye. :)

Yep, some do. Jackie Chan is "famous" for having broken a dozen or more bones in his body, plus countless strains and sprains. It is said he has to concentrate to walk normally on film. In more relaxed locales he waddles like a duck.
