Do you have a natural reverence for all life in general?
Child Progeny? That was very un-progeny of you.

Only in the sense that I don't feel superior to other creatures or that humans are "special". A squirrel has just as much right to be here as I do---but, if we collide in the flower patch, there's going to be trouble.

In general - yes.
I agree with 'G C' though - mosquitos and ticks can (and will) suffer and die at my hands.
Same for those creepy effing house centipedes (even though people like them because they eat roaches and spiders).

No. Mice, ticks, mosquitoes, roaches, flies, hornets, and some others, I have no reverence for at all and will kill them as soon as I find them in my house.

No. Living organisms are machines, no more sacred than planes and cars.

Yes. And the insects know I am not hostile to them so they leave me alone.:-)
