Car won t start?

2001 ford e250 cargo van with the 5.4L V8 engine,

The truck will not start/stay running, last month before this happened we had a full maintenance on it,

new fuel pump

new MAF sensor

new fuel filter

new air filter

spark plugs

the truck will not stay running, as soon as you start it, it shuts off, you can keep it running with the gas pedal held down, could it be the throttle body?

Check these things in the order:

    - TPS

    - EGR brittle plastic lines

    - IACV

    - Fuel filter put in backwards

It could be, Fords are known for carbon build up on the butterfly's edges and the air by pass valve on top of the throttle body should be removed and cleaned with a carb cleaner. That will no doubt help but I would be looking for a vacuum leak as well.
