Is the doctrine of M.A.D. obsolete now that a nation that welcomes destruction will soon openly have nuclear weapons?

The U.S. is the most destructive nation I can think of. Iran has had a policy of not producing nuclear weapons since 1970 and every Ayatollah decrees same. Even though there is a secret site, that is not for bomb-making purposes. Iran has felt having some national secrets was the mark of national pride, not to deceive. Israel has used Iran's eccentricities to make the world think the worst. The agreement forbids nuclear weapons or are you too closed minded to read?

    of course,

ICBM's & bombers are dinosaurs kept on life support to enrich the military industrial complex.

mutually assured destruction has been obsolete ever since the advent of the dirty [nuclear] bomb,

    and the micro-dirty bomb.

with those very small [the size of a thermos,] hand-carried, but devastating nuclear weapons,

the attacking nation can remain anonymous.

iran would/will simply attack at target the way Putin attacked the UK w/ his micro nuclear attack.

heard of it? no? see what I mean?

Iran would/will send terrorist proxies w/ canisters of radioactive material to be scattered in strategic locations in iran's enemies.

this would cause months of panic and

shut down the targets' econ: stockmarkets, political centers, transport, power generation, food & water distribution, military bases, etc.

hospitals & schools could be contaminated & shut indefinitely.

by radioactive material brought into the UK by Putin’s agents.

  • The only thing obsolete here is your odd rhetoric about Iran.

If Iran is so crazy, why hasn't it ever started a war?

It will still work. While there are extremists who welcome destruction the rank and file don't.
