French verbs?

What would be the correct use of the words in these sentences?

1. jouer: Michael Jordan _______ au golf.

2. regarder: Nous ________ "The Simpsons" a la tele.

3. ecouter: J' _______ le noveau disque compact de Will Smith.

4. travailler: Vous ______ beaucoup

5. manger: Tu ________ la pizza de 222?

6. habiter: Il _________ a Surrey

7. fermer: Katie ________ la porte

8. rester: Elles _______ a la maison

9. parler: La classe _________ le francais

10. collectionner: Marc et Luc, ile ______ les cartes de hockey

11. oublier: Tu _________ tojours ton code postal?

12. chercher: Qui ______ un stylo?

13. nager: Nous ______ a la piscine

14. preferer: Vous _______ le saumon ou le bifteck, Madame?

If you don't have accents (like me) then please indicate where it goes on the word like preferer has 2 accents on the 2 e's at the beginning. Thanks!

    These are all regular "er" verbs so they follow a pattern for present tense

    1. Michael Jordan joue au golf.

    2. Nous regardons"The Simpsons" a la tele.

    3. J'ecoute le noveau disque compact de Will Smith.

    4. Vous travaillez beaucoup

    5. Tu manges la pizza de 222?

    6. Il habite a Surrey

    7. fermer: Katie ferme la porte

    8. Elles restent a la maison

    9. La classe parle le francais

    10. Marc et Luc, il collectionnent les cartes de hockey

    11. Tu oublies tojours ton code postal?

    12. Qui cherche un stylo?

    13. Nous nagent a la piscine

    14. Vous préfèrez le saumon ou le bifteck, Madame?

    You need to know french verbs. You have to learn them because you cannot go further and present tense is very important. Ëtre & Avoir are auxiliaries. There are 3 groups of verbs. In your homework you have 1st Group verbs finised in -er (but Aller is irregular). All verbs have a root and endings.

    JouER in infinitive. The root is : jou+ ending for each person : -e, -es, -e ; -ons, -ez, -ent

    The Shyanne answer is almost good, but not perfect. Try to do it yourself. It is easy.
