A lot takes place there and a lot, if not all but I am not sure, of Lebanon is part of the promised land. The temples were built with the cedar trees of Lebanon. Jesus preached there in cities like Tyre and Sidon. Many early Christians fled there to avoid persecution as recorded in Acts 11:19 of the New Testament. And I know I mentioned cedar trees but there is an emphasis on the cedar trees of that region. The cedars there were very desirable to the Israelites in the Bible.
