Well first of all, it used to be that 29 years old was too old to be living with your parents. But now, many young people live with their parents to make ends meet or save for a home. As far as being able to make it yourself, you certainly can do it and you have to think positive. It's not that hard; you just have to figure out how much money you make per month, and how much your rent, utilities, cellphone, food, and car will cost you. At 29, you should be able to make this happen, and if you have to get a second job to pay for everything, then you should do so. As for those people who want to see you fail, ignore them. I'm not sure who these people are, but really, ask yourself, why on earth would they even bring it up? Put them out of your mind and do this for yourself. You will finally experience the joy of living on your own, coming and going whenever you want (and not having to worry about waking up parents), and you'll have a sense of accomplishment. Don't put it off; the longer you wait, the harder you'll make it for yourself.
