Are Italian Greyhound leg injury prone?

I like and want Italian Greyhound, but they look leg injury prone. Is it better to have other dogs? Other dogs have less leg injury prone? Dogs with thick legs. Dogs like terrier. I prefer small dogs.

German shepherd have big bones but they have leg injury prone.

IG are notorious for front leg fractures as puppies. These are sighthounds and the main problem is when they see a stimulus, they tend to jump off porches or the tops of stairs and from that height, it will fracture the delicate front legs. Once they are full grown and the bones fuse, they are not nearly so delicate.
