input special letters in Microsoft word?
i'd like to know how to type special word in Microsoft word, such as have 1" upper line" above 2 letters, (opposite of underline). also resume, put a ^ above 1 letter, thank you so much for your help

Oh my. i am fairly certain I could show you instantly live. I have trouble understanding what you mean, I think it is more than format:character:superscript though. Letters with ^ on them can be found with the Europeasn character list. copy n paste? http://fasforward.com/list-of-european-special-cha...
also you might be able to "ceiling line" normal characters if you underline the line above, and then set the line spacing to like 1/4 of something.

You can put symbols this way (open link to see the picture below).
And make a note that few fonts have more symbols than the others so be sure to get yourself some decent fonts on the internet.
