'Hate' tends to be directly related by proportion to actual body counts, especially when the deceased are women and children.
We supposedly 'hate' gays, which have killed tens of millions of people with lethal sexual diseases, ALL of which have been deemed 'harmless fun' by atheists and secularists. Women and children suffer the most when men or women choose these lifestyles and 'prefer' themselves to preserving their longstanding lineages, loving others beyond self and selfish drives and seeing the world in more than one generation or lifespan.
We supposedly 'hate' witches, which is the Biblical term for drug abuse and drug trafficking, (Greek: 'pharmakeia'); a practice that is currently killing one person every eight minutes while holding women and children hostage inside lawless sprawling ghetto systems to be pimped, poisoned and persecuted without any respite. This too has been deemed 'harmless fun' and an expression of human liberty worthy of public preservation as 'protected art,' even declared so by the Supreme Court.
The degree of 'hate' tends to be proportionate to the body counts involved in each of the hundreds of similar examples of the secular world's idea of 'harmless fun.' It is all collectively referred to as the 'price of progress.' In Christ's day, He called this same evil system 'mamonas,' instead of 'progress,' after the blind 'god' of greed which drives it and which blinds its loyal members to their own systematic self-destruction.
'Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.' (Matthew 7:13-14).
In reality, we only 'hate' evil, just as we are commanded to do, while clinging firmly to goodness, (Romans 12:9). Evil is known for its 'big three': 1) Murder; 2) Theft; 3) Lies. Not all death or killing is murder. Not all acquisition or reacquisition of property or reputation is theft. Not all complex statements are lies. But when we see them all together, we know that evil is present. GOD gave us the ability to 'hate' specifically to help us distinguish goodness from evil. This is because evil masquerades as a messenger of goodness and light, (2 Corinthians 11:14).
