Depends on how much floor time. 3-4 hours would be minimum.

That set up is not set up properly for a ferret though. Those small levels are useless and a ferret could fall. They should have a full second level.

It's a suitable cage for a rat or two. Not a ferret

    It depends.

If the ferrets are stuck in it 24/7 then no.

If they are allowed playtime outside of the cage (2-3 hours daily) then it would be fine.

But keep in mind bigger is ALWAYS better with ANY animal.

You should always get two ferrets regardless of price or cage size. They just do better in pairs.

No way not even for one. The cage would be about 5-6 feet tall, 2 to 3 feet wide, 20-34" deep. It also should have solid floors so the ferrets don't fall between levels. A good cage for ferrets is the Quality Cages Ferret Mansion. It costs about $400.

What do you know about ferrets? Have you read Ferrets For Dummies cover to cover and learned all about them? Do you know about all the diseases they get as they age? Have you made sure there's a ferret knowledgeable vet near you?
